Unfuck Your Habitat: Part Sunday
I woke up a little bit too late and immediately got down to it.
Put the dishes away that have been drying for days on the rack in my kitchen.
Started laundry in order of importance and ease of putting away. One load is drying, the second is currently washing and I have another one of stuff I’ll need for work this week already sorted and ready to go downstairs.
The roommate is home again (after a month of being home for the holidays) so we sat down and went through the fridge a couple nights ago and threw away two and a half bags of nonsense. Today my job is to scrub both the fridge and freezer out, go to the grocery store to replace the Arm & Hammer Odor Absorbers and then start my shopping list for breakfasts, lunches, and dinners next week.
I’m making a conscious effort to not over-buy and figure out ways to make the same ingredients feel like different meals so that I don’t get tired of the stuff that I have. Been pretty good about eating healthy this new year and working out. Reading a couple books that point me in the right direction of proper snacks and meals. Nutrition, ftw!
So, after laundry, I’ll start scrubbing down one side of my room. Last week I cleaned out the under-the-bed boxes, mopped under my bed and along my window. Baseboards, walls, picture frames, and the like all need to be wiped free of dust. I need to Swiffer my fan and start sorting/filing/shredding the papers on my desk.
Then I’ll start in on my pre-Monday unfucking.
So much to do! I wish laundry took less time.
